 How to change your domain username and password


 

Step 1: Login to  Namesarecheap  domain panel

 

Step 2: Click Domain Locking and make sure it's disabled.

Step 3: Click Profile.

Step 4: Click Change Ownership - All contact information will be intact so you will still be the owner, you're only changing the username for your profile.

Step 5: Enter the new username and password (we require 10 or more characters for password)
> check the box Move all domains associated with this NAC Passport > Click Change Owner

Done!

This will be your new username and password. Password reset not required.

How to separate your Facebook company page from your personal profile

 


 

Clients are asking for it, so here it is...

- Go to https://business.facebook.com/ - Click "Get Started"

- Choose which - Agency, Advertiser, Publisher, etc. - Click "next"

 


 

Step 1: Add the email address of Facebook admin, employee (Separated by comma), Choose Add as business manager admin or add as a Business Manager employee > Click Add People

Step 2: Check left box and choose role for the new Facebook admin/employee > Click Next

Step 3: Type company name and select from your list of Facebook company page

Step 4: Fill-out form how you want to display admin's name, enter company email address

Step 5: Click Skip (If no Ad Accounts)

Step 6: Click Skip (If no Product Catalogs)

Done!

Invitation link will arrive to admin/employee's email address.

Upon approval, Facebook company page is now editable by assigned admin/employee (but no access to your Facebook personal profile)

To add more people (admins/employee) click company logo > + Add new > People

 How to modify your A record, MX record, CNAME using Namesarecheap.com


 

 Step 1:  Login to iControlpanel.com  <--- or click this link. Type your domain, username and password.

 

 Snapshot below

 

 


Step 2: Click Name Servers/DNS -- If you don't see the DNS (next to Name Servers) please submit  a ticket and we will enable this for you for no additional charge. If this is greyed out, please click "domain locking" and disable.

 Step 3: Click "Modify DNS Zone"

 Step 4: Enter your A records. Scroll down below and you will find fields for CNAME, MX, TXT. Click "Save DNS Zone"

Step 5: Click "Manage Name Servers"

Step 5: Change your name servers to: Primary: ns1.systemdns.com, Secondary: ns2.systemdns.com, Tertiary: ns3.systemdns.com > Click "Save Configuration"

Step by step instructions fix for domain login and password error. Please follow our instructions below.

 

 Step 1:  Reset domain password  <--- Click this link and allow popup and enter your domain name. Reset email will be emailed to the current admin contact email address, check  whois here

Step 2: Type your new password, remember your existing username.


 Snapshot below

 

 


 Step 3:  Convert new password to NAC   <--- Click this link here. Please allow popup and re-enter the domain, username and password. Then click "Create NAC Passport"
